Here are the Happenings...

Black Food Coloring...

Guess who found the black food coloring while Mommy was making cakes?!!

Monster Cake

Keaton (the little boy I watch) is having a birthday this weekend and his mom hired me to make his cake/cupcakes. It was a monster theme... this is what I came up with... This was my first time using real fondant. I had a BLAST! I love sitting down to create something and seeing the vision come to fruition.

Best Friends!

I got such a GREAT surprise when my BEST friend from Kansas came for an unexpected visit! Oh how I love her!! We had such a great time watching Conference together and catching up a bit. I hope one day to live MUCH closer!!

Zoo Trip

We had to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather! A trip to the zoo seemed like a perfect excuse! Wow! Look at that tounge!
Waiting for the train
"Estin look at the camera!" "Mom, the TIGERS are looking at you!"

Justin's 32!!!

Growing up, my parents (mostly mom) always had the table decorated when we woke up. I love carrying on the tradition in my own family... even if it's for my husband who just turned 32! :)
Driving to do "something fun" as a family
Jump and Bounce. The boys LOVE it!!
Happy Birthday Justin and Jordan!!
I can never get them actually blowing out the candles so I always make them reenact it every year!
Chocolate Raspberry Cake. I made a big one for the family party and a mini size for his big day!
Dinner at Red Robin

Joy in the Scriptures

Daddy's Feet

Eli decided to put Estin's shoes on daddy! :) What a good helper!

Rainy Days

It's time for some serious fort building!

Family Temple Day

Justin and I had the opportunity to do family sealings in the Mt. Timp Temple with a lot of his adult family. What a special blessing that was!!

Boys being Boys...

One of the boys favorite things to do...have races on their bellies down the stairs. (Yes, that's a bandana on Estin's head. He just got back from a Primary activity... he was an Estinite :))
Sometimes I just shake my head at the "How" or the "Why"
Once again... (see above statement) :) He insisted on wearing his coat out like this to run errands. The problem came when it started to rain, he wanted his hood on but couldn't see where he was going!! :)
We love warm days, friends, oatmeal and dump trucks!!
The boys being silly

River 1st Basketball

This year I decided to try my hand at basketball. I hadn't played in over 15 years but looked forward to the exercise and the camaraderie with my girls. I mostly just ran, jumped and waved my arms around, but I WAS able to keep up!! We made it to Regions!
