Gardner Village

This has become a family tradition each October... It's crazy how much the boys have grown in what seems to be such a short time!! Some of the silly witches lurking about...
I love the "Cheeeese!"
Estin has always been scared to sit by this witch...notice how far away he is!
We found all the witches on our scavenger hunt list... time to enjoy our cookie!

Church History Museum

I had never been to the Church History Museum before, so one Sunday, after church, we decided to ride Trax up to Temple Square and check it out!
Estin dropped a toy plastic dog into the exhibit... he was so sad! While no one was looking, Justin lifted him up over the railing to get it! :)
How grateful I am to know my family is FOREVER!!

A perfect day... doing sealings in the SLC Temple. We hadn't been back to the SLC Temple since our own wedding. It was extra special because we got to seal my Great Grandpa Pollock to his wife Ruth and most of their children to them, and my Great Great Grandpa George to his wife Corda.
We ended the day splurging at Red Lobster for the first time! YUM!!

Cupcakes for a Cause...

I have a new hobby. Making cupcakes. I LOVE making cupcakes!!! I seriously go to bed at night thinking up new flavor combinations. On one such evening, I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be great if I could bake cupcakes for some cause?" So I googled, "Cupcakes for a Cause" ( I love internet!) and found CancerCare for Kids. It just so happened that they were looking for volunteers to host cupcake bake sales in September, so I signed up! What a GREAT experience!!! Our original goal was $200. In 2 days we nearly sold out of 1200 cupcakes, raising a grand total of $1400!!! I am SO grateful for the generosity of others!!! What a success!! This is Jen. She came to our booth in tears thanking us for supporting such a cause. She had just left the bedside of her 4 year old nephew, who was diagnosed with Lukemia. They didn't know if he would make it through the night.
Our set up
My friends and neighbors came all the way from West Jordan to help out! I love these girls!!
That same weekend, I made an additional 800 mini cupcakes for my niece's wedding!
I found a new hobby.
