Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!!!!
Here are a few highlights of our Christmas season...
We had the opportunity to attend the Christmas concert at the Conference Center featuring Natalie Cole. Justin and I both love the music of her father, the late Nat King Cole. It was pretty amazing!
Our little group... Oh, how I love this man!!!!
My nephew, Jarom proposed! (He got home from his mission in July!) Aleena's a great girl!
One of the many beautiful trees on Temple Square... this one is in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building
We took a "Train" ride (Trax) into SLC to see the lights on Temple Square. Estin was SO excited! (although you can't really tell from the picture :))
No, that's not Justin... that's Jordan and his family who joined us.
I look like I'm from the "Old Country" :)
Under my favorite tree... "The Atonement Tree"
I am SO grateful for my Savior....especially this time of year. Estin and Cael... fascinated by the tracks!
Estin's not so sure about Santa at our ward party... he kept saying "I think I wanna go home now"
I think Santa won him over!
I think Santa won over Eli too!
The other day Estin came in and said Buddy and Pooh Bear (Coo Bear) were sitting on the stairs waiting to say cheese for their picture.
The Hover family Christmas party... what started it all...TAMALES!
Estin's first Christmas gift of 2009 experience
Kelli's Family Trying to get a 4 year old, a 2.5 year old, a 2 year old, a 1 year old and a 5 month old to look at the camera at the same time!
Making gingerbread houses with our neighbor and her 4 girls who we just met
Estin's gingerbread train
Enjoying Christmas treats!
Eli's learning to roll over! This is as far as he can get right now...
Yum! :)

New Year's Resolution 11 Months Late...

So maybe it's this early mid-life crisis I've been going through, but Justin and I decided it's time to make a PERMANENT change. We traded in our internet allotment for a 12 month membership at the local Rec Center. I bought me a food processor and have been pureeing like crazy all sorts of healthy foods. Yesterday, Estin out-ate Justin when I served him chocolate chip pancakes with whole wheat, wheat germ, blueberries and SPINACH! (They weren't that bad at all!) So... if you're wondering why I don't post quite as often or don't return your emails, it's only because I'm probably at the gym running on the treadmill or perhaps whipping up brownies and cauliflower. :)

Random Pics...

Eli's Growing!

Before and After...

This table and chair set Justin and I found at D.I. It was spray painted black... we decided to refinish it for our new apartment...

Paint Day!

Justin said he could HEAR the smile in my face when our apartment manager said we could paint! It was a lot of work... but WELL WORTH IT! The paint job before was light yellow with WHITE touch up paint throughout! YIKES! Before.... During....

Moving Day!!!

The day has FINALLY come! HURRAY for MOVING DAY!!! (...and YES it took the biggest Uhaul trailer :))

Happy 30th!!!

Is it possible I've reached the ripe old age of 30!!! I never thought this day would come (and it came SO fast!) I've kinda been going through an early mid-life crisis... but I'm trying to look at the positive and think of just how far I've come in 30 years, and where I'd ultimately like to be in another 30.
