Father's Day...

I am SO grateful for the men in my life. I have been blessed with a good father, who helped make me into the person I am, a step dad, August, a father in law, Bob, Papa Ketchens and other righteous influences that have loved me, taught me and respected me as a woman. How grateful I am for my own eternal companion. I couldn't have asked for a better father to my children. He is my PERFECT match!
My poor little guy, Estin, got sick Sunday afternoon. TRUE fatherhood is spending the day holding a bowl and offering words of comfort. I LOVE this man!
As the afternoon wore on, Justin took a much deserved nap. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of sleeping spaces that hadn't been thrown up on.

Oswald Family Reunion...

The Oswald family reunion was held this year in beautiful Duck Creek. We had a lodge that housed a private bedroom and bathroom (complete with cable and internet) for each family. I LOVE to camp tent style, but it was a nice change with 2 small boys. We had a GREAT time! Thanks Steve and Teresa!!!

As you can see I got a lot of sleep! :)
Estin & Eli chillin' at the lake...
Our family tried an auction this year with fake money. It was a lot of fun, and with 50 people participating, you can imagine, a little chaotic! :)
It's a little dark...but this is our family's talent for the talent show. As you can see, he's come a LONG way from last year!

Best Friends!

My BEST friend in the WHOLE world came to visit from Kansas. Josie, Jess and I have been FOREVER friends for a VERY long time!!! We've seen each other through college and missions, and heartaches and marriages, and now children. It's WONDERFUL!!! I LOVE these girls SO much!!!While Jos was here, we took the opportunity to spend a girls night at a local hotel (after taking the kids swimming of course). We had SO much fun relaxing and catching up...let's not let another 2 years go before we do this again!

It's Planting Time!

Our tiny porch needed some beautifying. My sister in law, Amy, had some old flower planters and some Day Lillies she no longer needed after relandscaping their yard, so we happily took them off their hands! We painted the boxes (with help from the boys of course) and planted away! The Lillies should be blooming any day now!

There are several NEW updates! :)

Food Network Pays Off...

Justin & I have been watching a lot of Food Network when we have the time, and have really come to love the challenge shows. We decided we'd try our hand at cake fondant for Memorial Day. Here's the process & how it turned out! Not bad for our first time. We'll be sure to do it again!!!

Bridal Veil Falls...

What a BEAUTIFUL day to hike Bridal Veil Falls! On our way back from Heber we decided to give it a try (even with 2 little boys in tow). We made it! It was worth the effort!

A Day Out With Thomas..

For Estin's birthday we bought tickets to ride Thomas the Train who had come all the way from the Island of Sodor to the Heber Valley Railway. We had a blast! As you can see from the pictures, so did the boys!
I loved that Estin wanted to hold my hand on the train.
An old steam engine they had out in the yard
